As part of a renovation for Nashville’s historic Union Station Hotel, GHP has become the local architect of record to guide the leadership team through this challenging process.
GHP recently worked with the design team, management, holding company and others to assess what renovations were to be made to the iconic hotel. As a historic property on the national register, GHP served as the guide to all involved when it comes to what was feasible for the hotel.
GHP worked within the project team to develop a highly successful renovation that was able to negotiate the preservation of the historic qualities of the Hotel while intermingling a modern concept and a level of elegance within the new vision. The updated public spaces have brought back an aspect of the hustle and bustle of the daily life from the rail station era back into the Main Lobby of the now Hotel.
