  • Meet Our Instructors

    Frank Hulce

    Trainer/Environmental Consultant

Some people say what we do is just business, but to Frank it’s always personal.

Frank’s dedication and personal investment in our training programs is what drives his success and ensures our team is prepared to work in the field every day. His favorite part about training is connecting with students through humor and presenting situations that force them to think critically.

With a long-standing background in construction, Frank’s interest in the environmental side of things was piqued when the abatement industry hit a growth spurt in 1988 after the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act. He even went on to help create a school bond program, building the infrastructure and program management within a district to support large abatement and construction programs.

But don’t let all his impressive professional accomplishments fool you – Frank’s no stick in the mud. In college, he spent one summer traveling the country and selling bootleg T-shirts out of a van at rock concerts. Fun fact: that is illegal and you can get arrested for it. Just ask Frank.

    John Peterson

    Trainer/Environmental Consultant

John cleans up other people’s messes. The big scary messes. Asbestos, mold, you name it and John has seen it and remediated it.

Not only does John help GHP’s clients clean up, he also trains our clients on how to avoid those messes in the first place. In fact, that’s his favorite part of the job – getting challenging questions from his students.

But John isn’t all work and no play. Hanging out in our Denver office has its perks for the avid fly fisherman and skier.

Although John has a very serious job he’s always trying to lighten the mood and even incorporates a little comedy into his training programs. After all, his favorite quote is, “Don’t take life too seriously, you’ll never get out of it alive.”
