The GHP T-Shirt Tradition: Edition 46

Healthy buildings make happy people.

Welcome to our 46th edition of the GHP T-Shirt Tradition, featuring happy buildings! Each edition of our t-shirts is a testament to our passion for our work and our dedication to creating designs that resonate with our clients, partners, and team members. Check out our inspiration behind this year’s design below!

“Happy Buildings” was born from a theme around healthy buildings leading to happy people. The design is inspired by the rubber hose animation style, which originated in the early days of animation, particularly in the 1920s and 1930s. The term "rubber hose" refers to the bendable nature of the character's limbs. This style of animation was popular for its simplicity and ability to create lively, fluid movements. The joyful nature of rubber hose animation makes it a fitting choice for the GHP 2023 T-shirt, to reflect our passion for creating healthy, happy buildings.

When buildings are functional, sustainable, and inviting places to live and work, they contribute to the happiness and well-being of the people who inhabit them. This year's t-shirt design embodies this belief and serves as a reminder of our commitment towards finding solutions in the built environment.

"Creating spaces that foster a healthy and happy environment is the lifeblood of GHP. Our mission is to make sure every community and business has access to a healthy environment."

— Dominique Arrieta, AIA, President, Chief Executive Officer
