Don Cole

Vice President,
Director of Tennessee Environmental

In 27 years, Don has pretty much seen it all.

After getting his start at GHP as an Industrial Hygienist in 1988, Don has taken on several roles and managed dozens of projects, including a multiyear life safety project for the City of Evanston and several demolition projects for the City of Nashville and MDHA.

Now, he’s managing projects from initiation to completion for multiple client types and training employees on the best practices and procedures in the environmental field and built environment. He’s found the key to a successful team is treating clients and associates with respect and fairness. He trusts his employees to do their part but stays on top of each project so there are no surprises at the end of the day. It’s a simple formula for success.

Don might also be a little competitive, but it’s only because he wants to do the best work possible for GHP’s clients and for himself. After all, he didn’t achieve the best half marathon time in the office–1:46–by resting on his laurels.
