Ronald Gobbell, FAIA

President Emeritus

Ron puts the G in GHP.

But that’s not all he brings to the table. He has worked on projects ranging from designing the interior of a space station to planning the newest AAA ballpark to hit Music City, and through all of it there is one constant – living up to his promises.

According to Ron what makes GHP so successful is doing what he says he’ll do - give clients excellent quality, at a good value and in an ethical way, while offering the best service in the industry.

That’s a lot to live up to!

With top-notch clients like HCA, Marriott Hotels and Metro Nashville who keep coming back project after project, it’s evident that Ron and his team consistently fulfill those promises.

Outside the office you can find Ron (attempting to) ace his friends on the tennis court, in the boat on Old Hickory Lake or cheering on the Vols, his alma mater, during football season.

While Ron has received a number of awards throughout his career, he’s most proud of his induction into the College of Fellows for the American Institute of Architects. Well, that and his magic tricks.
